Wix is one of the largest construction kits for websites. Among them is the “Restaurant” module. It allows you to create a menu in no time at all in order to take online orders and receive payments. MERGEPORT introduced a two-way interface to integrate WIX Restaurants with your system.

Setup a page with WIX Restaurants. Please check that you are using the supported version of WIX Restaurant Orders:

and not

In case, please migrate by installing the correct version.
Configure payment methods, order settings, pick-up and delivery settings.
In the dashboard of WIX, you can find an option to set the MERGEPORT URL as a notification channel. Please follow the guide underneath.
To set the notification channel, you need to navigate through
Settings (menu bar) > Restaurant Orders > Notifications
to find am option to store a so-called “webhook”. Enter the URL “https://ordering.mergeport.com/v4/hooks/wix/order/” here.
In order for MERGEPORT to be able to identify the restaurant page, the page ID (also called “Restaurant ID” or “Organization ID”) must be stored. The Restaurant ID can be found in the source code of the restaurant page or can be obtained from Support.
Open the MERGEPORT configuration and add WIX as an online ordering platform. In the form, enter the Restaurant ID from Step 4.
